Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born.

You.

This intimacy is rare..
And that's why you're so precious.

Wednesday.

"Of course there is not formula for success except, perhaps, an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings."

Habit gone

Breaking the moment of past habits is the challenge here: In the life of the spirit you are always at the beginning...

Growth.

“We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.”

Letting go.

You seem to be blinded by manipulation.
A new self of yours is being created.
With it may come happiness, in which I am glad.
But this change - its making you just like everyone else.
Unique as you have been, indigo,
The only reason you don't understand me is because you are different.
But your perception moves in the ways in which you want it to.
You still see what you wish to see,
Even though you're not the real you anymore.
Don't become a clone... I never tried to change you.
Maybe I should have.. but life does what it does.
You are entitled to what you deserve...
I hope you are happy.

Leave those behind who hurt you.
They are merely bricks in the wall.
You will find many more people on your journey,
Never settle for less than you deserve.

Happy place, I am coming...

To be calm...

“It seldom happens that a man changes his life through his habitual reasoning. No matter how fully he may sense the new plans and aims revealed to him by reason, he continues to plod along in old paths until his life becomes frustrating and unbearable—he finally makes the change only when his usual life can no longer be tolerated.”
—Leo Tolstoy

Liar, liar

It's funny how much some people lie to the point where you don't know if what they are saying is the truth.
I'm sick of hearing you laugh about her shitty tattoos, failed sex life, annoying habits and other associated things.
You lie to me probably just as much as you do her.
But I'm done with your shit....
For good this time.

Wicked

I never did blog about how truly wonderful this was.
If you ever have a chance, Wicked is well worth it...

What's on your plate?

It's perspective

You cannot have East without having West. And you cannot have night without having day. And you cannot have summer without having winter. We have to accept the life in its totality. There is a certain rhythm, there is a polarity...

Be greatful.

Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands, because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy -- because we will always want to have something else or something more."

Wednesday.

Diamonds from the pavement
Where a broken glass had been Just like these troubles
that I'm leaving to the wind ..

Confidence.

Walk your lonely street and think of me.
And even if you try to pull apart my pieces,

I know the real reason you are scared.
You know you can't break me,
And you know that I'm fine with being just as I am, without you.

Sexology is over for the semester :(

Warm and fuzzy

Significant

Im sure this has been said by someone in the world before but I thought back to a book I once read and had to post something from my train of thought...

Never forget your own insignificance, but consider yourself significant.

We are are all tiny little insignificant life forms floating deep within the universe.
And because there are many of us, this makes us even less significant in the scope of our own kind.
However, this is your life and you are important.
Never forget the scope of your existence, either way.

Tuesday.

Pursue the things that catch your heart.

Words.

I felt the need to refresh myself and calm from all this study before bed.
A favourite past time has been reading poetry, sounds rather lame but true.
So I opened up a book and read from its pages the perfect words of John Keats:

"The only means of strengthening one's intellect is to make up one's mind about nothing, to let the mind be a thoroughfare for all thoughts".
-John Keats

..... perhaps my inability to decide on numerous things daily isn't such a terrible fault.
And also, the fact that I must always argue something out both ways until I drive myself into the mindset of a fence sitter may also be acceptable??
I don't think that is quite what he was getting at but poetry is all a matter of perspective, right?

And here comes the random shit from the bottom of my brain... the stuff that really means nothing and are thoughts that pass casually through the heads of most people but somehow dwell in mine for a substantially and highly unnecessary period of time...

Communication is such a gift.
However - why are words never enough?
They can arouse the deepest thoughts,
the most amazing feelings.
They transfer wisdom and teach fact.
But look at them and their ridged shape.
There is such restriction,
"Masculine with a compact frame".
But can one only 'create' or be 'creative' with words to a certain degree?
Or can sentences be constructed delicately and skillfully enough to sound like they have never been written or thought of in word-form before.

I guess this, like poetry is all a matter of perspective.
I've been told that people can't simply 'create' from words.
But there are definitely two sides to that argument.

Inspire me.

Perhaps we all have this longing, a need in fact - to be inspired.
And when those valuable sources of inspiration pass, we embrace them.
It's fair to say that a lot of our time on this earth is spent looking for inspiration.
I suppose that's why we hold onto those special people who have the power to inspire us...
Everyday.

Life is good.

‎"The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you are alive, and die only when you are dead. To love, to be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar disparity of the life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget."

Rant #239802

How are people so concerned with praising a sacred "higher power" that they forget that they themselves are sacred?  So is the word 'faith' trust and belief without necessary proof?  Is there really any logic in that at all?  Was science and medicine just so undeveloped when the whole idea of religion came about that absolutely nothing seemed ridiculous?  I mean if diseases could make people ill "out of the blue" (obviously reasons were not yet known) and there were few answers to many of life's questions wouldn't it be easy to believe in something that has not been proved?  Clouds can be seen in the sky but do we need proof as to how they got there?  Because people didn't originally understand these things, did that make their minds vulnerable?  I believe so.

So why has religion not died out yet?  Why are humans happy to place their whole livelihood and trust in a non-existing being/set of beings?  It actually blows my mind.  But what to I know?  And what use is it?  Will religion ever be disproved more than it already has been?  And by religion, I am particularly referring to Western religions like Christianity.  To me, scientology and christianity are on par when it comes to bogus ideas but why are people so dumbfounded by 'wizardology' and all that but a guy in the sky creating the world is totally legit?  I hope that before I die I can meet a religious person who can give me some awesome arguments.  I would actually like to hear some, legitimately!
