Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born.

Give me your kidney

Now on to the actual blog...

So the issue arose on television last night - Should we give people who willingly damage their bodies new organs?

My answer?
No.

Smokers were the main focus of the debate; however they are not my primary concern.  There are many ways that people can be ignorant about their health, so if someone is unaware of damage or its done by accident then fine - exceptions should be made.  However those who are obese, those who smoke, those who put themselves in these high risk factor positions should have to wait their turn - aka, the organs should be given to those more needy patients who have fallen sick by chance.  I am not being bias against a particular demographic - like I said, obese people, those who self harm and damage their organs with alcohol or drug abuse and smokers.

Have the parts but wait.
That's my take.
Feel free to debate.

Aboriginal health: The placebo effect relationship.

I have been spiritually enlightened this week.  I'm doing a course on Aboriginal health and although it hasn't changed my opinions too much it has definitely opened my eyes and educated me on the spirituality of Aboriginal people.  I say "hasn't changed" as for the vast majority of aboriginal people, they are respectable and honourable, wonderful people in Australia.  It's a shame that they are misunderstood.  In proportion, more caucasian Australians drink than aboriginal people, however over 50% of aboriginal people smoke.  Crazy health statistics really, but what I'm trying to say is those you see on the streets causing havoc make up a minority.  We live in a very domesticated environment away from the bush and the people in remote and rural areas.  It is to be expected that those Aboriginal people who have broken away from their culture have come here and yes they may spend their welfare payments getting drunk but white people do it too.  In essence sadly every race is made up of a vast majority of cunts and also every race is racist.  Sadly it is within us.  That isn't to say that Aboriginal people aren't racist. As mentioned, racism is present in every culture and even between cultures.

Anyway - back to spirituality.

Me.
I have this vision in my body that I am at one with the world - I move with it, I am a floating light that interacts with other things but essentially make all my own choices and carry my own energy.  I make my own choices and find my way around my own problems.  Being in the field of nutrition, I believe my body needs essential nourishment to allow my brain and body systems to function and allow me to be a strong person.  Nourishment and care creates this energy, my spirit is nourished by exercise, learning and mental stimulation/interactions with intelligent beings and meditation - all of which I do not do enough of.

Aboriginal spirit.
Aboriginals (Australian Aboriginals) are the longest surviving race in the world.  Their cultural practices and ceremonies are handed down through generations and have a great deal of meaning.  They infuse plant life (ceremoniously) in water which gives a "drunken effect" and also traditionally smoke a plant which is similar to marijuana for spiritual encounters - especially those where they need to be taken into certain trances and mindsets.  Sadly, alcohol was brought to Australia, a long with many other drugs that were an issue to these people and their vulnerability.  But if left to their own ways, this race would have been very spiritually driven and still is.  I suppose keeping with the times and experiencing change is a necessity of life.

So as scientists, we speak of the placebo effect.  Basically, if you think and believe something strongly enough it can control you - "psychological medicine" as it is known.  Aboriginal culture is driven by the idea of spirits and self healing.  Healers can help those that need treatment and in many times illnesses have been proven to cure or dissapear after the people encounter these "healers".  The same goes for curses.  Curses can be cast on those that have done a wrong doing - "an eye for an eye" as they say.

Beautiful words.

I love these quotes:

"Knowledge gratifies the ego, wisdom happens only when the ego is gone, forgotten. Knowledge can be taught; universities exist to teach you. Wisdom cannot be taught, it is like an infection: you have to be with the wise, you have to move with the wise, and then only something will start moving inside you." Osho

"When there is confusion, there can be certainty; when confusion disappears, certainty also disappears. You simply are — clear, neither confused nor certain, just a clarity, a transparency. And that transparency has beauty, that transparency is grace, it is exquisite." Osho

"Stupidity is repetition, repeating others. It is cheap, cheap because you need not learn. Learning is arduous. It needs guts to learn. Learning means one has to be humble. Learning means one has to be ready to drop the old, one has to be constantly ready to accept the new." Osho

‎"Intellect is thinking. And consciousness is discovered in a state of no-thinking, so — utter silence, that not even a single thought moves as a disturbance. In that silence you discover your very being — it is as vast as the sky. And to know it is really to know something worthwhile; otherwise all your knowledge is garbage. It may be useful, utilitarian,
but it is not going to help you transform your being. It cannot bring you to a fulfillment, to contentment, to enlightenment,to a point where you can say, "I have come home." Osho

‎You go on dreaming, imagining beautiful things for the coming days, the future. But in moments when danger is imminent, then suddenly you become aware that there may be no future, no tomorrow, that this is the only moment you have got.

"When you are able to see with no dust of knowledge on the mirror of your soul, when your soul is without any dust of knowledge, when it is just a mirror, it reflects that which is. That is wisdom. That reflecting of that which is, is wisdom." Osho

Energy & Power

Energy amazes me - its presence everywhere in all things, in all people. There is nothing quite like the human race and the energy which we each of us possess.
We show love and compassion, empathy, trust.
But hatred, conflict and all things opposite too.
Some of us use our souls to dance through this life journey,
Whilst others seem at eternal conflict with themselves.
It's crazy how life can be so different for each of us,
But I guess it's beautiful that way.
The strong separate from the weak,
But the weak always have the potential to join the strong.

A very beautiful soul showed me this.  It's from someone's facebook so is not my own but I liked it very much:
The person who has not known what repose is starts stuffing too much food in himself. Nothing can help him unless he learns repose -- no dieting is going to help, no exercises are going to help, no disciplining is going to help. Sooner or later he will start eating again, because his inner being feels so empty and he knows no other way to fill it -- he knows only one way: to go on throwing food inside himself.
When people come to me with the problem of too much obsession with food, my only suggestion is: become more meditative. Don't be worried about food. Become more loving, become more meditative, and the problem will disappear. When you are full of love and meditativeness, you need not stuff yourself with food. The food is only a substitute -- because you are missing the inner food, you are trying to substitute it by outer food.

The man of repose always remains very very alert, aware, of what he is eating, how much he is eating. He cannot eat more than is needed, and he will not eat less than is needed. He is always in the middle, he is a balance.

Mind control

I have been doing some research on the pineal gland and neurotransmitter synthesis.  It has proven to be very interesting.  I wish I was like buddha and could have the ultimate control over my brain and in turn mind - what a guy/s (many buddhas exist after all).  I guess I can only try, for control is achievable but perhaps not close to such a level but enough for inner peace.

On the same topic:
THE SEVEN PRIMARY HUMAN CHAKRAS
The 1st chakra is called the Root chakra. It is located at the base of the spine and is connected with the coccyx. The Root Chakra opens downward. When active with vigor, it is fiery red-orange in colour. Physical association adrenal glands, kidneys, spinal column. Spiritual aspects stability, security, grounding and courage.
The 2nd chakra is called the Sacral or Spleen chakra. Located over the spleen, it is sun-like in colour and opens towards the front. Physical association genital area/reproductive organs, lower abdomen. Spiritual aspects creative harmony, sexuality, giving and receiving, expression of emotions, desire and pleasure.
The 3rd chakra is called the Solar Plexus chakra. It is located about two finger-breaths above the navel and is directly connected to our astral or emotional body. Through the solar plexus chakra we absorb the solar energy which nurtures our etheric body, which energizes and maintains our physical body. Physical Association stomach, pancreas and liver/Navel to Solar Plexus. Spiritual Aspects personal power, transformation, courage, laughter. This is where our emotional (feeling) energy radiates, particularly our "gut feelings."
The 4th chakra is called the Heart chakra. It is the center of our entire chakra system. It is located in the center of the breast at the level and vicinity of the heart cavity and connects the three LOWER physical and emotional centers to the three HIGHER mental and spiritual centers. Physical association heart, thymus gland, lungs, and influences the circulatory system. Spiritual aspects Unconditional love, forgiveness, compassion, and ultimately healing.
The 5th chakra is called the Throat chakra. It is located between the depression in the neck and the larynx, beginning at the cervical vertebra behind the Adam's apple. It starts at the cervical vertebra and opens towards the front. It is also connected to a small secondary chakra, which has its seat in the neck and opens to the back, but since the two chakras are so closely related, they have been integrated into one. Although it has a lot of blue about it, it is also silvery, like moonlight upon rippling water. Physical Association Thyroid, neck, shoulder, arms, hands. Spiritual Aspects honest and open communication-self expression, listening and expression of emotions.
The 6th chakra is called the Third Eye chakra. Physical association with the pineal gland and eyes. Here conscious perception of being takes place. It is the seat of our higher mental powers. Spiritual aspects open one up to inner vision, insights, intuition.
The 7th chakra is called the Crown chakra. The Crown Chakra opens upward, at the top of your head. Interestingly enough, medical science has yet to conclusively determine the physical influence this gland has on the human body (probably because metaphysics is beyond their rational thinking mind.) Although it contains all sorts of prismatic hues, it is predominantly violet. Physical association Pituitary/Cerebral Cortex, Central Nervous system. Spiritual aspects are associated with the gateways to higher realms of consciousness it can lead to varying degrees of spiritual awakening.

I have a choice, but don't hurt me...

Life throws you the hardest of choices at times.
Sometimes multiple things give you strength, but weaken you at the same time.
Finding balance is the hardest part,
However I am so lucky to have the opportunity to choose.
I must never forget that.

Inner strength

If we trust no one do we become sad and sorry skeptics for all eternity? But what is worse - this or the feeling of betrayal, the kind that almost makes your heart explode? They say that women are driven by their emotions, so maybe the intensity is controllable. However is it normal to feel so "fucked up broken" when one discovers betrayal?I want to remain objective to such things, such situations. However it can be hard.I'm only human, but I need to remember that in the end,I have nothing to lose...

Kaley

I'm not a big fan of the latest models or movie stars.  To be honest, not many real looking women come out of hollywood, however these ladies are absolutely gorgeous and curved filled.

1. Kaley - Not as curvy as the rest but a real cutie.

2. Kate - Most amazing body, perfectly curved and not too skinny.

3.  Brittany - cute and hot at the same time.

4. Dita - On the skinny side but with shape.

5. Miranda - Again, on the skinny side but her eyes and skin are divine!

6. Mary-Elizabeth- she only pulls off one look that does it for me but she is a beautiful girl :)

I hate the word "love".

I'm really sick of hearing about how things should be.  The worst thing about being a girl is that we're emotionally driven and just when you think you're strong and in control, the emotions kick in. You know what I adore and hate the most at the very same time?  Love.  I hate that 95% of song lyrics are based around 'love', I hate that there are magazines with advice columns, and stupid quotes on the internet and soppy pictures of people holding hands.  The word is stupidly overused and it makes me sick.  It almost has no meaning or should be at least changed to "a sense of liking, but misinterpreted".. or something like that.

Love is an expression, yes that is true, however it is so majorly dramatised in the wrong kinds of ways.  I really wonder how many people know what real, true love is?  I wonder if I know?  I think I do, because I observe those around me but I'll never know if I feel more than they do; if my "love" is somehow different from theirs.  Sadly, we can only compare ourselves to what we actually know.

So women - "oh but I love him and he ditched me" or "he doesnt take me out for dinner" etc.  Is that how things should be?  Is that what makes you happy or is that what you're told is meant to make you happy.  I guess from growing I have realised that women are subjected to a lot more of the telling than the knowing.  We are always finding things to constantly bitch about in regards to our relationship because we are looking for the wrong things.  If we are constantly believing that things can be perfect, and that something more must be present, we will never find happiness in our love lives.  For there is no perfect, which isn't to say that you have to settle for less than you think you deserve.  The problem with women is that we all need to stop, grow up, cease our bitching and moaning and just be.

Be. Be. Be.

So here's what I think:
Who fucking cares if the guy you like doesn't like you?
Who fucking cares if your boyfriend hates your favourite pair of shoes?
Cease worrying that your man is cheating on you - if he is, fuck it. It's not the end of life and love.
If you've been hurt before, you can't compare the last relationship to the present.
You can't assume someone else's love will add up to yours or vice versa.
Don't always think about making yourself happy or making others happy - its all about a balance, but put yourself first.
Nobody will ever love you if you can't love yourself.
Life is too short to dwell on everything and to remain crazy for one person who doesn't feel the same.
Your love and your partner's love might be different in their ideals - learn these and do what YOU want, don't adopt their ideals.

And most importantly...

If words could only describe.

Control is something we procrastinate over far too much.
Not everyone you encounter is going to appreciate the things you say and do and you have to be ok with that.
I am absolutely filled with positive energy right now, all I want to do is meditate.
Sitting still in this repetitive day-to-day mind state just isn't fulfilling enough - life is too short.
I wish right now I could put my thoughts into words.
I feel like the strongest me I have ever been....
I feel like I can do anything in this moment...
......To be continued when my mind stops excelling my body to take action on more important things than blogging :)

Education

A small population of individuals in the world are educated - sadly many humans live in poverty and will never afford a place in this demographic of people. However what I personally find most sad is that in Australia, we all have access to greater knowledge, yet a vast majority of us capable individuals choose to take an easier route.  Although there are variables such as disorders etc - there are so many Australians out there who just don't give a fuck about learning.  I don't get it.

Too many blogs.

I apologise for the endless blogs this month..It is part of procrastination and change.
I know I talk a lot of shit but I think a lot.
And because I'm a woman I guess I feel a lot too.

Driven by emotions - its not a good thing but positive energy comes out of it.

What makes a happy Miranda...

I am so happy.
I don't know why....
Well I do sorta...
Its because everything is exactly as it should be.
Wonderful and perfectly balanced between controlled and out of control.
I'm sick of everyone seeking "perfect", like movies suggest. Seeking perfect at this tender age will only make you insane, for the perfect you think exists, doesn't exist just yet and sometimes never will. So change your ideal - find the someone you can spend hours talking to about the most interesting yet pointless things, someone you can waste the weekend with, someone you can teach to and learn from and someone with adventure. When you find them you'll realise how lucky you are NOT to have that "perfect" you thought you wanted...

13th June

“In the stillness of your presence, you can feel your own formless and timeless reality as the un-manifested life that animates your physical form. You can then feel the same life deep within every other human and every other creature. You look beyond the veil of form and separation. This is the realization of oneness. This is love...” Eckhart Tolle

Women and men.

Human instincts, emotions and behaviours are absolutely fucked.  If I could be bothered and had enough time, I would love to study psychology for interests sake.  However I suppose psychological theories do not really say much about the actual things women say and do but more the psychology behind their emotions/motives/feelings etc.  The strangest thing about engaging or observing encounters with the same sex or the opposite sex is that so many people are oblivious to the ways in which the other will do things - whether it will be verbally or in actions.

What every man should know about women: The truth which covers a vast majority of us..

1) MOST women do everything in an emotionally driven way.  We can't help it.  It's so wired into us that we think in the most irrational moments we are being rational because of our "feelings".  We let our feelings absolutely consume us in all senses - the things we do/the way we act, what we say, how far we are willing to go with people.  It's actually fucking INSANE how it all works.

2) Women hardly ever say things as they are.  Another thing that is hard to do is saying things as they are.  For some reason we have to always give a background story on everything or justification for something we say.  This is not always the case as there are variables like interests, education level, age etc. But generally speaking we make things way more complicating by saying things that we think will spark a reaction from the opposing person or at least hopefully keep them talking, interested etc.

3) MY OPINION - Star signs, as absolutely bullshit and invalid as they are; SOMETIMES support personal traits.  I myself, being a libra have this fucked up complex with weighing things out and being indecisive.  I'm sure that this is only a personal trait but I have seen similar evidence to support that to some degree, a star sign can give a slight indication of character - obviously its very invalid to a degree but somewhat interesting.

4) Every woman wants to feel like she's important.  She may be completely discrete about this - in most cases she will be.  I believe that most human beings are naturally attention seeking but I love watching girls absolutely flaunt what they've got and throw themselves at people to get some praise. Its hilarious.  It also ties perfectly in with girls being completely driven by their emotions.

5) When a girl wants someone/something bad enough, she'll be crazy.  And when I say crazy I mean she'll say everything you want her to say.  She may not even realise it.  Sometimes she will say things because she genuinely means them which is a hard thing to differentiate between.  There is this major act she will project to you! However I often have conversations with friends that say "he wanted me to do this, he doesnt want that etc and so I did this so he would/wouldnt do it".  Crazy?!?! I fucking reckon!  This ties into my "Morning sex" blog.  From my own mental tally so many girls hate morning sex... and this rule is complicating because its not absolute. YES we like morning sex when we feel like it but because guys want it way more often, girls will pretend a lot of the time.  The pretending stops after she feels "emotionally secure" in knowing that if she says no to you you won't leave her.  Reality is fucked up.  Has your girlfriend ever said to you "Oh my god baby I love it when you're hard in the morning?". Im sure she has.. and i'm sure she loves it some of the time...aka when SHE wants it...WHICH ISNT ALL THE TIME EVEN IF SHE SAYS IT IS.... so yeah... be aware.

6) Women take shit seriously.  If you're not at the kind of level with her that its acceptable to say what you think then don't say it or you'll lose out.  If you break up with her and say its because you hate her hair or her voice is fucking squeaky, even if she hates you she'll believe it.  Not even kidding.  Women cry over this shit ALL THE TIME!  "Oh my god...he said he hated that dress i wear out. Is it horrible?" etc. And this is why women need so many friends - for justification that they look a million dollars and that they are loved with or without men...*SIGH*. MEN If you want to test your power tell a girl you like/dislike something she is wearing or comment on the way she looks.  I GUARANTEE you that she'll wear that thing you liked a whole lot more (even if she hates it) or do her hair the way you like it in front of you because you said it.  Women don't forget that shit.  Seriously.  Its like mentally implanted in their brains once it comes out of your mouth.
This will also slowly die the longer you stay with them.

7) Women CAN BE controlling.  This is one of those variables that really depends on personality.  If she's self centred she'll control you more than you're even aware - she'll make you chase her etc.  If she's insecure or just very very light and fluffy in her emotions she will do the opposite - she will let you get away with murder to please you.  It's important you find a woman with balance as this is the hardest thing about women!

I know you're probably feeling freaked out by this, but its the truth. And just to add - all women ARE crazy, in different ways.  Although we are all into different things and fit into very different social groups etc our minds work on the same sorts of principles in one way or another.  It may be mild or extreme... either way.. know boys that your woman is crazy!
